Our General English Standard course concentrates on improving your general English and at the same time allow you to improve your language skills. It also allows sufficient time for private study. Once you are at the intermediate level and above you can choose different options to improve any weak areas you may have such as writing, reading, listening or speaking. Your teacher will discuss this with you at the appropriate time.

How long is the course?
The minimum enrolment is 1 week. There is no maximum enrolment. You can study for as long as you wish.
When can I start?
Every week with a Monday start throughout the year (except national public and Christmas breaks).
What time are the classes?
3 hours per day: 9am - 12pm or 12pm - 3pm or 6pm to 9pm (subject to availability)
Your General English Standard class may be in the morning, the afternoon or evening depending on your level.
How many students in a class?
The average number is 6 - the maximum is 15.
What is the minimum age?
Whilst our minimum age for individuals is 16, Students aged under 18 are not supervised except in lessons and on class excursions.

A1 = Beginner
A2 = Pre-intermediate
B1 = Intermediate/Upper Intermediate
B2 = Upper Intermediate
C1 = Pre-advanced/Advanced

General English Standard Course Content
All General English Standard lessons are teacher-led, dynamic and cover the main skills: listening, reading, writing, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
